• FunctionThis plug-in card is designed for ABB legacy Symphony DCS racks. Equipped with Motorola 68020 CPU, it executes local logic operations, conditions and collects analog signals, analyzes vibration, axial displacement and rotating speed signals from rotary equipment and judges fault conditions. It communicates with the rack backplane bus to upload field data to upper-level controllers, outputs relay alarm contacts and 4-20mA analog signals for equipment interlock and condition monitoring. It stores parameters and programs via onboard memory chips, and enables predictive maintenance monitoring for turbines, compressors, large fans and water pumps.
