Product Detail

GE VMIVME2540 is a 6U VMEbus intelligent counter and controller board with 24 configurable channels, onboard 15MHz 68HC000 CPU, supporting high precision counting, position measurement and pulse generation for turbine control and industrial test systems.

Product Overview

GE VMIVME2540 (ICC) is a VMEbus slave I/O intelligent counter/controller module in 6U VME form factor, originally from VMIC/GE Fanuc. It is equipped with an on-board 15MHz 68HC000 processor, offloading counting and measurement tasks from the VME host CPU. It provides high-precision digital measurement and pulse generation functions, adopting memory-mapped interface design, widely deployed in GE turbine control, motion control and real-time simulation systems.

Key Features

  • 24 programmable channels, configurable as 4/8/16/24 channels via jumper settings
  • Onboard 15MHz Motorola 68HC000 CPU with built-in firmware
  • Supports single-ended TTL and differential RS-422 signal input
  • Multiple measurement functions: event counting, frequency, period & pulse width, quadrature position measurement
  • Pulse train / square wave generation, periodic timer interrupt function
  • VME slave interface: A32/A24, D32/D16/D8, 64KB memory window
  • Supports 32-bit floating-point calculation complying with IEEE 754 standard
  • High anti-interference capability, suitable for harsh industrial control environment
