CP60 is an advanced control processor for Foxboro I/A Series distributed control system, upgraded after CP40 with stronger computing capacity. It performs regulatory control, logic interlock, timing and sequential control with connected FBM fieldbus modules. It supports optional fault-tolerant redundant architecture for bumpless failover. It communicates via 10Mbps Ethernet fieldbus for real-time data exchange with I/O modules, operator stations and upper systems.
